Introducing Ai Haibara’s unique work from CURIO private sales.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Ai Haibara<\/strong>\u00a0is a sculptor born in 1981 in Okayama, Japan.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n

 <\/p>\n

Her work is created with the combination of traditional wood carving with acrylic paint.\u00a0Combined with Japan’s “Kawaii” (cute) culture that is spreading worldwide, her works have been attracting attention not only in Japan but also overseas in recent years.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Ai Haibara<\/strong>\u00a0expresses unexpected moments of children and creates that into a wood carving. The works of boys and girls covered in light-colored acrylic paints look like soft dolls and give the works a unique warmth.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
