Introducing a canvas piece by Yuya Hashizume from CURIO private sales.
The indigo blue of the piece is truly beautiful, and I wish you could see it in person! This is such work.
Yuya Hashizume is a self-taught artist who has been gaining attention for his “eye water” series. In this series, he depicts a moment of a droplet of tears falling from the eye by anime-like touch against a background of monochromatic colored ground.

Hashizume says that he does not give specific meanings to the individual crying figures but wants viewers to interpret them freely.

Today’s piece features a tear from a girl’s eye and a strange-looking owl. What could have happened? It’s captivating.
