Let us introduce “Backflip, Paradise Cove” by Herb Ritts from CURIO private sale.
| Photographer of Cerebrities
Herb Ritts (1952-2002), one of the most famous photographers of his time, was born in California, USA. He created sophisticated monochrome art photography, focusing on powerful forms, curvaceousness, and striking shadows.
He has photographed supermodels such as Naomi Campbell and Cindy Crawford and lots of celebrities such as Madonna, Michael Jackson, and David Bowie. His glorifying images of the well-known helped to further mythologize celebrities in the 1980s and 90s.
